I’ve said this many times, and I’ll say it again: IT’S TIME FOR POLITICIANS TO STOP USING THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY AS A PUNCHING BAG TO WIN ELECTIONS! People’s lives, dignity, and rights are not political props to be exploited for votes.

That’s why it matters when candidates like Bonamici’s Iowa counterpart, who is running against Miller-Meeks, take a stand rather than remain silent while the transgender community is targeted. It takes backbone to stand up for people who are being unfairly singled out instead of pandering to fear and prejudice.

It’s also time for the citizens of Iowa to stand up to this bill shit and show their support for the transgender community, just as people in other states have done during this election cycle. Transgender Americans deserve the same dignity, respect, and rights as everyone else.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Stop using a vulnerable community to score political points. It’s time to stand up, speak out, and show that our values are bigger than political games.

That was indeed an adroit (and I think effective) way to just disarm the grenade, as it were. She understands how to not get sucked into the mud. Thank you!

I would like above just about all else for this phrase "biological men" (or women) to be eliminated from the journalistic lexicon. Fox and friends are a lost cause long ago, but the so-called mainstream is not correcting this either. We should miss no opportunity to point out the biological facts (as I did in this post a few weeks ago).
