A new battleground state poll from the New York Times of Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin likely voters shows they believe society should accept trans people as their gender.
"However, if Republicans lose for a third consecutive year after making anti-trans ads a central part of their platform, they may start to question whether this approach is politically effective."
That assumes Republicans are actually capable of learning from their mistakes, which we have all seen is definitely not the case.
It literally is. The republican platform explained: "Only practices rooted in longstanding tradition. New ideas and learning are right out. we need the people who are rich to remain rich! I mean... tradition! yeah, its important to... adhere to... whatever was the thing that got us in power I mean we weren't first so don't go too far back but like definitely don't combat wealth inequality either just give us all the money okay? fuck you though you can starve. "
I saw the new Trump They/Them ad last night in the middle of a football game. I was at a pizza place in Seattle, in the (very queer) Capitol Hill neighborhood, with a rainbow flag in the window. The sound was muted. I was happy to see it - every dollar spent on a pointless, maybe even counterproductive ad buy is a dollar that doesn't get spent on an ad that actually makes a difference in the election.
I have never regretted ditching cable TV and loading my browser with every ad-blocker I could get my hands on... but I regret those choices even less this year than ever before. I'm pretty sure that, if I had to listen to the kind of vile propaganda the GQP has been pushing, every commercial break and every youtube video, throughout this whole wretched election season, I'd be in desperate need of a new liver by now.
Doesn't surprise me that women overwhelmingly are supportive.
While I do live in a very blue area, other women have been the most accepting and welcoming people when they find out I'm trans. There's a warmth and embrace that is not received from most men that know.
One thing that jumps out at me is that the rural oversample in NYT's polling is insane. There is absolutely no way that these states are 20%+ more rural by population than they were in 2020.
Nevada, Michigan, & Wisconsin are trending as they need to for Kamala to win, there the same pressure kept up will work -- but she must also win PA, which is trending wrong.

One definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again in hopes of different results! I think that is a core tenet of MAGA Policy!

Yep, it was good to read Musk poured another $50,000,000 down a hole.

Last day I was doing the shopping and a big, bald man, looked at me shocked, saying: "Oh, my God!"

There is the "ball game", PA must be turned.
Praise the goddesses!
Quick typo. The second time you mention Harris is within the margin of error in Ohio you typed “Wisconsin”.
