Well, at least it's not a veto-proof supermajority (from a gerrymandered legislature). It's cold comfort, but I'll take any small victory that comes our way.

That was a powerful speech by that rep/mom! I noticed how she would pause, take a deep breath to reset her method system, and continue. Love her ❤️

Though I am glad that this bad legislation will go down with a veto, I don’t take much solace in it, because our opponents will simply regroup and rabidly keep pushing until they get what they want. There is, sadly, simply no line where our opponents are willing to stop and say, enough is enough, we’ve bullied trans people enough. Things are quite bad in about half the states now, but just wait until national anti-trans legislation gets passed, depending on the outcomes of the 2024 elections.

Transphobic, purposefully ignorant, monsters. May they step on Lego every day for the rest of their lives.

The fact that a party-line vote in Wisconsin is 63 to 35 shows just how horribly gerrymandered this state is, as the statewide vote has gone blue as of late. It's egregious, especially because this blatant gerrymandering is leading to people losing their rights. Thankfully they couldn't gerrymander to a veto-proof majority.

The same old barrel of dung being hauled from state to state by the trans-hate mob.
