Excellent! I'm in Pullman and lead an advocacy group. We might need to pool resources.

I love how everyone is chiming in on this. I'm in Olympia and I want to help, too. I wonder if we could draft a letter/script for writing/calling. May be good to shower them with feelings of how much we love and support our trans kids/community, how we witness the blossoming when one becomes themself in a loving, caring, and informed community. I'm truly sickened by this news and I'm hopeful we can join forces and make an impact!

If regular medical transphobia wasn't enough it can now be taught for professionals to keep their lisence what the hell

I'm in Pullman (home of WSU) and a local human rights advocate. We are so on it!

As controversy-phobic as the uni is, there is no way they will let this stand once we make noise. I hope.

Thank you for the alert.

That is bizarre and inexcusable.

Doctor here. This is outrageous and WSUs attempts to justify it are utterly bad faith. You don't allow CME credit for anti-vax or anti- germ theory cranks but to allow this shows their ignorance and contempt for trans people. This is another step in the right's long game to erase trans people and medical providers need to be leading the pushback.

Ashamed of my alma mater. Certainly won’t be donating any money to them going forward.

Thank you for this reporting. As a healthcare professional in WA, I submitted a formal complaint via the form linked in the article. (If anyone would like to have a copy of what I sent, let me know! I wouldn’t advise sending the exact same thing but if people want to use it as a starting point for sending complaints, I’m happy to share)

I've jettisoned my attempts to be "bipartisan", people who are on the right and vote for those on the right are almost always enemies, there are rare exceptions, but they tend to be ostracized for their open-mindedness. I have no regard for Satanic people, including the "churchgoers" who are racist, homophobic, transphobic, religiously bigoted, etc. We're at war.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. As a WSU retiree, I am horrified. I will let the university know my feelings about this.

Just another university making a very bad decision. Promoting far right propaganda and false science. It is just discusting and makes me sick. I just don’t understand the logic behind this.
