In current legislative fights over gender affirming care, it is clear that Republicans only intend to target transgender people. This amendment vote proves it.

Bills like this prove it's not about protecting children. It is a targeted attack on an already marginalized group with the ultimate goal of making everyone conform to their strict dogmatic neo- evangelical view. This is not freedom, nor liberty, not even parental rights. It is blatant fascism. Welcome to the fourth reich.
Thanks for keeping us informed even if the bills are terrible and target trans kids. It's clear that it has nothing to do with protectung kids but rather hurting and discriminating against trans kids.
So, they're OK with minors becoming more barbie like, but, not reducing the likelihood of suicide. Typical Republican perverts wanting to turn minors into sex objects, but, couldn't give a shit about mental health. They just can't stop themselves . . .
