So nice that these disparate religious groups can come together to hate people. Seems hate is the only thing that can bring them together. Sucks to suck I guess.

Honestly the cooperation surprises me a little bit. Them holding a similar position doesn't but the cooperation does. Let's hope that when this is all over the right wing christian fascist party don't turn their sights back on the Muslim community like they were just a few short years ago. Maybe in their loss of thus battle they atleast gain some respect and empathy for each other

Realize these cases are from lawyers from groups like ADF and it is not so much Muslims and Christians working together than just two parents from both of these faiths agreeing to put their kids to be part of this case.

First off this “issue” is a nothing burger. Secondly conservative men view trans women as men and thus ascribe their own perverse thoughts and feelings onto transgender women. Never in my life have I felt threatened or was made uncomfortable by a transgender woman. Never.

Although I am very concerned about what the outcome would be if a case like this went to SCOTUS, for now this is good news, and I’m happy to take victories where we can get them!

Currently, we are relying on Courts and elected Dems, and this is a frail reed indeed. As Erin said:

> it only requires one judge in an unfavorable circuit to drastically alter the landscape

>of transgender rights.

I understand that organizing transgender folks is akin to herding kittens. But I fear we are substantially un-armed for the near-certain direct fight against fascism that lies ahead.
