The troop I lead is on Erin's list and we are so grateful for this opportunity as we need a lot of extra help this year! We're an all trans & all immigrant troop in Mpls MN & we can't safely do cookie booths this year like we would do a lot of in normal years, because of aggressive and dangerous ⓘⓒⓔ activity.
The girls are using funds from purchases & donations to support their hurting neighbors and community, especially the vulnerable ones who have to basically stay locked inside to remain safe (which includes documented & undocumented as well as full US citizens, as ⓘⓒⓔ is targeting people based on skin color, last name, accents - violently and without regard to documentation - and causing real trauma). Thank you SO MUCH for your support of this incredible community and these incredible trans girl scouts 🍪💖

This world can be so cruel. But the support really does make a huge difference. They feel the love each time more support comes through and it helps keep them going (and me too, seeing joy on their faces that doesn't come as easily these days).

I brought 8 boxes and then gave most of the cookies away. If you haven't ordered yet think about it. It's a worthy cause and the cookies taste good too.
My scout is on the list and it’s been something special for them to see how many people support them. I don’t think they were prepared for the response they got. ♥️ We always buy a box from an older scout and a box from a younger scout, and one from someone we do booth handoffs with in. This year they want to return the favor to some of the other trans scouts on the list.

I think this is an awesome tradition! It's the second year we've ordered about two dozen boxes from scouts on your list (and a couple of those boxes are already gone -- they arrived so quickly!).
I let my trans daughter pick who got our orders. She had a great time doing it -reading each scout’s story. She picked 5 scouts to purchase from, but the person who spoke to her the most was the fellow Magic the Gathering player named Raya. If we lived in the same city Rebel would have asked for in person delivery to gift her with a MtG deck. Thanks for all of the good feels.
