I've never been a huge HRC fan/supporter, but +1 to them for taking one of The Right's favorite symbols/slogans and throwing it back in their face.

They def. know how to grab the Mic. Maybe with the $ they raise of the merch, they can hire back some of their Trans/BIPOC staff ?

I'm with you re: not being a ghuge HRC fan. I still don't trust them after their days of prioritizing the days of white cic gay men over the rest of the community. Glad to see they are evolving though

I went looking for the merch before I finished reading the article that told me that there is no merch yet. Oops.

BRING ON THE SHIRTS.

Wish HRC actually had a strong history of fighting for trans people though. They gutted their BIPOC trans-led programming with the layoffs earlier this year, while the president earns 700k+ (she only took a 10% paycut) and other senior leadership are making 250k+

I have mixed feelings about this image. On one hand, I'm not a fan of the U.S. I don't like its systems, history, or overall culture. If I were in a position to move somewhere else, I would. Anything to do with American patriotism is cringe in my book, and not of the cute, endearing variety.

On the other hand, this is sure to get right-wing God bless America, love it or leave it, anti-human rights, anti-science, anti-empathy assholes riled up. That's always a good thing.

I'm guessing it will also make for a good PR campaign with a lot of people, and looking it from that angle I have to acknowledge it's probably a smart move.

Need to correct 2024 to 2025 in the last paragraph is where I think it was.

I've been wearing a 'These Colors Don't Run, Either' button since around the time of the first Gulf War.

Kudos to HRC for being more aggressive publicly about defending the Trans and broader LGBTQAI+ community. I love the eagle image and caption, and I'm pleased that HRC changed their home page online and put front and center their activities and projects rather than calls to donate money.

If anybody's got the skills... I'm sure the entire internet would love to see it!

Definitely a more appropriate message for the times. For so long the right has stolen symbols that should inspire everyone. Past time they were stolen right back.

Well, they're still pissed off we "stole" the rainbow, so I'm just happy to add this to the collection of things.

Okay HRC, be honest, you saw that truck in Asheville with this on it and ran with it 😂.

Hell yeah, FINALLY. Enough with the focus tested “love is love” messaging.

So proud of HRC and anyone involved in creating the image and making it visible and loud! LOVE IT!
