NONE of this should come as any surprise. After all, it was we (in the trans community) who started the crusades; conducted the Spanish Inquisition; burned the witches in Salem and England; starved the Ukrainians during the 1920's; sent the Jews to the concentration camps in Poland; interred the Japanese Americans and confiscated their property; used attack dogs on the freedom marchers in Selma; and forced those poor policemen to clear out those "fags" at Stonewall. Clearly, the god fearing and all-loving Christians need all the protection that they can get from us. My question is: AFTER they have wiped us out of every public space, who will they blame for whatever ills remain? Who will their "tormentors" next be?

Leonard Leo, Heritage Foundation, Alliance Defending Freedom, and their various sock puppets won’t wait til we are cast out of every public space. They are champing at the bit to get on with their “good works.”

Expect to see the current bans and restrictions begin to spread beyond the transgender folks to the broader LGB and queer population. PrEP and HIV spread prevention will lose funding, beyond the current CDC cuts. The ACA mandate for PrEP funding will likely fall. Expect cuts in Federal same-sex employee benefits. Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) will be folded into the HUD emergency grant program and vanish. DOJ anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime investigations will end. Specialized SBA business support programs for LGBTQ+ businesses will end.

And that’s just next year.

Isn't it lovely when people with no moral compass set out to destroy others who don't meet their moral standards?

"Trump administration plans to end prison rape protections for trans and intersex people, memo says, by Adam Rhodes"

The crimes against humanity charges nearly write themselves.

The people engineering, funding, and carrying out the propaganda campaign and enacting the laws and policies against transgender people must face 42 U.S.C. § 1983, 18 U.S.C. § 241, & 18 U.S.C. § 242 prosecution.

To that end, should an escrow/trust fund be constituted?

We no longer live in a society that cares about fellow human beings. This racist, homophonic, immoral, anti-trans, administration lead by a dictator makes we sick to my stomach. I have reached a point of being ashamed of my county. The way we now treat our own people has gotten to a point where we are no longer the shining light that everyone respected and wanted to come to. We are now the country that everyone laughs at.

Can we do anything to stop these prison rules from going into effect? Or is too late?

This post is not specifically about prison rules, but the underlying cause and effect is the same. (It's clearly too late unless the entire fascist cabal is removed, and that is not happening in some fantasy 2026 fair election.)

Can anyone explain how to counter this (see URL)? Anti-trans operatives are trying to tell me that trans care is fake, doesn't work because of this WPATH, Johns Hopkins situation. They seem to think it is a powerful smoking gun for them, like the Cass Report. I am afraid to post WPATH standards anymore (and that used to be good one).

These people will never face the consequences of their actions in the United States. The judiciary, the Department of Justice, and the apparatchiks of the Executive branch are too deeply embedded to be readily rooted out. Our only hope is for a new president to submit and 2/3 of the Senate (34 good and honest persons) the Rome Statute for ratification.

Then the International Criminal Court could investigate, extradite, and prosecute the current monsters infesting our government.

They currently are holding Philippine President Dutarte for his extrajudicial murders of alleged “narco-terrorists.” There is a mechanism, if only we can find those willing to use it. Otherwise, if left to our courts, we will see all the justice these wealthy oligarchs can buy.
