Imagine throwing in with folks who want to chew up and spit out your members economically just because you're homophobic and transphobic. It's the height of stupidity and derangement.

Oh someone is DEFINITELY getting ousted, I just hope it's swift. Then I bet O’Brien goes crying to the GOP and embraces all the worst shit and becomes anti-union.

The union retribution needs to be swift and clear. Kick this fucker to the curb.

WTF? As a Union member for the past 26 years, I am just shocked. I am transgender, work in the state of Florida which is a "right to work" state and see first hand how management can screw with the non-union members, and even with union members. There is no way I would be in the position I am today without the Union. Management would walk all over us and we would be just another screwdriver in a tool box to be thrown out if not needed or used a little too much.

To even speak at the RNC is grounds for vote of no confidence for a Union President. This far right group have very little interests to make life BETTER for workers unless it can benefit management or corporate exponentially.

Fascists will not break our unions 💪

WTAF??!?

The Republican Party has been consistently anti-union for longer than I've been alive. Even if the membership of the union buys into all the right-wing culture war nonsense (and some of them probably do), there is no way any rational union leader can expect anything other than hostility from anyone with an R after their name on the ballot.

Trump and Vance may be distressingly good at populist, stick up for the working class speechifying, but none of that has ever translated into any kind of policy. Tax cuts for billionaires and corporations, right-to-work (i.e. anti-union) laws, removal of worker protections, etc.

Idiot.

So, who wants to bet he's already scheduled a Waaaaahmbulance tour around the conservative media bubble for after he's asked to resign- oops, I'm sorry, after he's "𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥"- for betraying every single dues-paying member of his union and all of their families?

Me too. It seems like he's hedging his bets

Why the Teamsters' president would endorse a candidate who's been stiffing his workers for several decades, IDK...

Personal gain. He's angling for a cabinet position and doesn't give a fuck about workers.

How did this guy end up president of the Teamsters?

I don’t understand what is happening.

Ooooo another cishet white man telling us where we belong. How precious. And predictable. One day they are going to trace all the money and corruption driving anti-LGBTQ politics in the 2020s, but until then, we aren't going anywhere. We may need to change tactics, but I and many of my siblings are strong, tough and not afraid to fight for our rights if they force us 💖❤️💖❤️

For the life of me I can’t understand how a union member, let alone the President of the Teamsters, would ever speak at a union hating Republican cult gathering. He should definitely be censured by the union if not ousted.

Ousted is the only respectable response from union members. They need to see him for what he is, a back stabbing Brutus making a political move for himself without any care for the union workers.

So some working class man wants to pull up the ladder after he got his to spite minoritys.

Wow! If Trump thinks he can win with an anti-dei teamster and a 39 year old 18 month freshman governor who believes him to be "America's Hitler" as his vice-presidential candidate, he has moved from reality into fantasy land.

What an SOB.
