Rep. Vindman (D-VA) deserves every trace of heat they get for it.

It's too late to primary, not too late to remember.

Thank you, Baum

Someone needs to school him on how “both sides-ing” is done.

Actually, he seems to be doing it all on his own...

Rep. Vindman has shown a stunning level of hypocrisy. First, he joins Republicans in supporting legislation that is disrespectful and harmful to the transgender community and their families. Then, he turns around and issues a cheerful "Happy Pride Month" message as if that vote never happened.

He cannot claim to stand with the LGBTQ+ community while voting for measures that undermine its members. Pride Month is not a photo opportunity or a public relations exercise—it is about standing up for equality, dignity, and respect.

Rep. Vindman should take a hard look in the mirror and ask himself whether his actions match his words. Any backlash he receives from LGBTQ+ advocates and their allies is a direct result of the choices he made and should come as no surprise.

I am finally heading over to join BlueSky just so I can heart that rainbow frog of shame.

Please. CALL his office!! I have—and I will keep calling. You don’t have to be from his district, or even from Virginia, to let him know we see what he is doing, and we will not ‘just let it go.’ Too late to primary him? No problem: Call him out to your own Representative —to my VA Senators—and we can change either his actions or the course of his career.

Okay dolls. Who is he following. I'm sure he's following at least one of us somewhere.

I've been shitting all over the man on FB, every campaign ad I see. To hell with him.

This is indeed the power of what YOU do! Your column has a profound influence. Thank you again, Erin.

He should immediately get booted from the so-called Equality Caucus. No idea why Marie G-Perez is in that caucus either, she's a closet Rethuglican.

Not so closeted, apparently.

These idiots are trying to play both sides of the fence and pit everyone against each other. The only way their agendas work is to create enough chaos to the point people just don't care anymore. Complacency is what got us here.

I received emails urging me to support him and, of course, send money. I sent back an email to all recipients recounting what he did in the vote, saying I used to respect him, when he was being vilified by trumpo, but no longer, and urdged people not to vote or suppot him. Maybe a little nudge to others.

Excellent example of why I no longer vote FOR ANY DEMOCRAT AT ALL unless they are 110% explicitly proactive allies and Trans and LGBTQ+ supportive. No LGB without TQ+ BS, because what's a Democrat who can't support LGBTQ+ rights? I'll tell you what, a Dem who can't or won't support us is only a GOPMAGA who can correctly use a semicolon and can identify which is the salad fork at a table setting. That's IT.

Without US, they have NOTHING.. That's ALL they have to offer America, being marginally less morally repulsive, AND, supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion.

They need US far more than WE need THEM!

Oh, no, he *didn't*!

Opportunist.

Shame on him. I was so disappointed. I urge folks to go to his website and write a statement. No hate, just disappointment, disapproval, and BTW I will never send you money bc of this. That’s what gets attention. I get begging texts from him everyday bc I give to Act Blue and they share their lists with all Dem candidates. Annoying.
