It is imperative at this point that since the major objections about trans people is influenced by the Christian political coalition, that we should be suing them for discrimination and any church funded with public money, by way of their preferred tax status as non-taxable, should be held accountable for the discrimination.

Who knows, it may just threaten the true Christians into turning against the political Christians for fear of losing their tax exempt status as well.

For heavens sake, why aren’t our supporters trying to think outside of the frigging box?

The Twins are fighting to protect trans kids? That’s amazing!! Now if we could just get the Vikings and Timberwolves involved. The Wild are kinda wild cards so that could be trickier. Amazing News! Prince would be so proud. He did more than anyone for trans people in the 80s.

The silence from the traditional blue bastions has been deafening- but at least Minnesota understood the assignment!

It is so good to see that an increasing number of people in states and state with people in them are standing up for each other just because it is the right thing to do. Would you scream, “Kill them!” Just because someone else did? Or would you step forward and at least say, “No! I won’t hurt anyone!” Some ppl would actually step forward and yell, “Over my dead body you bloodthirsty idiots! Don’t you see you’re next?!” That’s heroism but capitulation to evil is collusion with evil. The least we are accepted to do as moral beings is to refuse to kill or maim others.

This makes me happy that my queer family made it to Minnesota in March from red MO. We are still getting settled, but at least now I feel my adult trans daughter stands a chance to live her life! The atmosphere here is so much better. I don't feel like I have to look over my shoulder every minute when I'm advocating for trans rights.

LET'S FUCKING GO!!! It's time for politicians and states to not just be victims of Trump admin's lawlessness, but actually FIGHT them in court! I hope more states follow suit! (pun not intended, but I'll take it)

The long struggle for equal opportunity continues.

We promote equal opportunity for everybody not because we think everyone is the same. We promote equal opportunity because we’re all different.

Because it’s clear that each of us is different, it’s only fair that we all get an equal chance.

In other words, it’s only fair that we all get a fair shot to play by the same rules and on the same field, and have the opportunity to contribute in the same arena, regardless of each individual's sex or ethnicity.
