Erin In The Morning To Return Monday! Ask Me Anything Edition
Erin In The Morning returns to its regular publishing cycle Monday. In the meanwhile, use this as your chance to prepare questions for the 2nd half of 2023's coverage.
I'm thrilled to share with the faithful readers of 'Erin In The Morning' that our regular reporting will be back on track come Monday. There are so many stories I need to bring to the forefront, inspired by the numerous updates you've shared with me during my vacation. I'm deeply appreciative of my readers and the invaluable information you provide. I'm equally thankful for the robust support you've given while I’ve been gone. Together, we've created a powerful platform here - a means to push essential stories into mainstream media and ensure trans voices resonate in LGBTQ+ news reporting.
The past week has been an extraordinary journey for my partner Zooey and me. My first ever overseas trip, and France couldn't have been a more magnificent destination. We began in Paris, specifically the LGBTQ+ hub of Le Marais district, and stumbled upon a delightful queer bar where we met some of our Parisian readers. Our adventure then took us northwest to St. Malo and Mont St. Michel, where we caught the international space station gliding across a star-lit sky while standing on the ramparts. Our journey is now drawing to a close with a visit to one of the largest renaissance festivals in Europe, set in an actual castle town. It's been a trip of dreams.
Nevertheless, I'm aware that it's almost time to jump back into the fray. News hasn't taken a vacation while we've been taking a well-deserved break. We're returning to this battle more invigorated than ever and ready to hold decision-makers accountable on LGBTQ+ policy. You can count on me to be there for the most significant news developments. It's vital to remember that taking time for self-care and rest is also a form of resistance, and we all deserve such reprieve so that we can be our most effective.
So, as we gear up for our return, I'm inviting subscribers to pose their questions. Upon my return, I'll video myself answering the 10 most popular questions you've posted - they don't necessarily have to be about LGBTQ+ news or legislation, although I'm more than ready to tackle those as well. In the meantime, take it easy, and I'll see you all Monday!
Can I propose something? For those of us who go into doomsday mode easily, maybe a mini story near the end of each article, "Today's Cause for Hope"? Even if it's small, it could help.
I am so glad you and Zooey had this chance to enjoy such a wonderful and well deserved break. ❤️
