They are bringing the issue to the courts. (I’m asking, not contesting.)

The nine demonstrators arrested in the Idaho governor’s office did not commit a crime — they answered a moral call.
When a government passes laws that target transgender people for humiliation and exclusion, protest becomes not only justified but necessary.
Civil disobedience has always been the engine of justice in this country.
