No, actually he's not. He's a Centrist Democrat and in many ways that's worse than a Republican because with a Republican at least you know what you're getting.
What you get with Republicans is the shit storm we're in now -- at least as long as the current administration is in place. The GOP is controlled by extremist evangelicals and white nationalists and billionaires who will never do anything for the trans community other than plan for its extinction and put into practice actions and laws that will lead to that. There are some terrific Dems who stand for trans and other LGBTQIA+ rights and we need to support them.

And here's the thing: the DNC election autopsy actually proved that it was the Gaza issue that lost the election, not transgender issues. And this is why they refuse to release the autopsy publicly, for fear of upsetting AIPAC.

This is why they have threatened Democrats who have accepted their previous donations with having that money tap shut off if they look even slightly like flipping on that issue. A wider understanding that duplicity and support for Israel’s campaign in Gaza is what actually cost them the 2024 election would likely cause Democrats who abandoned Gaza for votes rather than conviction to alter their position.
