We are next folks. Targeting the trans community, opens the door for a number of their objectives. Detention of u s citizens, the strict definition and policing of womanhood, and the use of medical rekurds to target civilians. I've written about all this. To me, Bailey's appointment sets the stage. Be ready folks. As soon as a single trans person is picked up for being trans, we need to round up all of our allies and take to the streets.

I agree we must go to the streets continuously and fight back anyway we can

My guess is that they'll go on attempting to criminalize trans people indirectly rather than directly, since all kinds of law, starting with the Equal Protection clause of the Constitution, makes a *direct* attack on being trans as such legally almost impossible. Bear in mind that T***p Inc. has lost 90% of their cases that have come before a federal judge. That's what happened with the ginned-up anti-gay panic in California in the 1990s led by then-governor Pete "Slime-bag" Wilson.

As someone living in Missouri he is a truly awful person and should not be in office. He’s been fear mongering for ages and he hasn’t done anything useful for the state of Missouri 🙃

Another gender-obsessed hater, now with even more power to persecute. And a big-ass Christian to boot, who ignored credible sexual abuse allegations of children at Christian boarding schools. Jesus must be so fucking proud.

"And a big-ass Christian"

Well, so he says . . .

He acts otherwise, to go by Christ's example.

I fear shit is about to get very real. And I am well aware that it has been very real for those in States with all the horrendous state laws. I live on the left coast. We have been somewhat under the radar. California has been the first to take the hits. This guy is evil. It will be very important to mount challenges in the lower courts. That process can take time. And time is definitely on our side. Delay, delay, delay. And avoid SCOTUS.

The people engineering, funding, and carrying out the propaganda campaign and enacting the laws and policies against transgender people must face 42 U.S.C. § 1983, 18 U.S.C. § 241, & 18 U.S.C. § 242 prosecution.

A la Mandalorians, that is the way.

The enraging irony of this scumbag replacing one of the few maggots who are staying mad about mass conservative pedophilia is beyond maddening. They are literally covering up child abuse and abuse of women by attacking innocent people like us and saying it’s in the name of protecting children and women. NO WAY!!!!

This is lucky for my ex-residence of Missouri but bad for the country. Baily submitted the anti-trans healthcare emergency decree--that this article covers very well--solely for personal gain. He probably knew it would never hold up, which it didn't. There was some injunction following Baily's BS order, and then the whole thing sorta withered away with no real effect except to advance Baily's career and temporarily scare trans people getting HRT. On bright side, the Springfield, MO, trans health providers really stood by us despite Baily's totally bad faith action. The FBI is in serious trouble with hucksters like Patel and Baily at the top.

We need to reach those numbers before people are rounded up for being Trans. For the U.S., that "magic" spot is 11 million, or 3.5% of the population. It shouldn't take locking up of our citizens to realize we need to gather. Senators have already said we are in a Constitutional Crisis. As far as Bailey goes, not a surprise,-no one nice wants to work under Patel.

They are working to lower the age of consent in MO and also taking apart child labor laws. I know a few trans people that have left the state. It is always the calculation of stay and fight at risk or flea to somewhere safer.

Hello Erin and Collaborators,

I have a request for information help.

Are there studies showing significant average differences in bone density between trans female athletes and their cis counterparts, and whether such differences if any appear to give the trans athletes a competitive advantage? My cis-het son, a serious leftist and strong supporter of trans rights, is troubled by this question, partly because he's an athlete himself.

Cheers,

Emma

There is a reason why no MtF athlete has ever even made an Olympic women's team slot competitively. No as in never.

It is because "masculine" athletic advantage is entirely dependent on effective blood testosterone level over time, and in terms of net advantage, only the last two count.

The IOC rules which worked to produce "fairness" for the 18 years beginning on 2004 were that a MtF athlete had to be on 2 years of medically effective HRT before competing in women's events. That undergoing part or all of a typical male puberty confers a higher bone density on the athletes who experience it in a near universal manner is uncontroversial -- it happens. The thing is after 2 years of effective HRT, the musculature available to move that larger, heavier skeleton with then wrong for the available power attachment points is not there. It's like having a mild choke plate on a combustion engine and having to start in 2nd gear all the time instead of 1st. The musculature is too thoroughly feminized for a net "masculine" advantage to survive.

Bones also respond to HRT, and become feminized as well -- but the bone remodeling period is on average 7 years, so it can take up to 21 for that to have near it's full effects (which affect the weight but not size and shape). The soft tissues respond far more quickly.

I know of no paper ever having looked at this other than in a results/times statistically as opposed to quantitative individual athletic capacity overall, like masked and running on a treadmill, etc. -- near every study looks at one or a few characteristics and not a set of individual athletes holistically per each, and then comparing results.

So ask your son what sports have an advantage to athletes who are slightly relatively slower to accelerate, stop, and otherwise move quickly. Best regards, Talia

This is a f-ing disaster. Out of the hundreds of sycophants he could have selected, this particular sycophant, the one with an extensive history of wanting us gone? It’s a clear signal we’re the only real “broad support” policy initiative Trump has left and he’s going to push it hard.

A lot of people are gonna suffer before it gets better. But it will get better.
