What level of amorality has to exist in a human to feel igniting this degree of hatred on fellow citizens is warranted?
As I have been saying all along, picking on the transgender community is not working. Even the anti-trans American Principles Project appears to be waking up to the fact that Republicans and people like Elon Musk, who continue pushing anti-transgender advertisements, are not going to win elections by attacking a small, vulnerable community.
Virginia’s elections last year provided a clear warning: voters are not interested in politicians who spend their time targeting transgender people instead of addressing the real problems facing Americans.
The public is tired of the negativity, the fearmongering, and the endless political attacks. They want politicians to focus on what actually matters: the cost of living, affordable housing, healthcare, and making life better for working families.
Republicans and their wealthy supporters can keep wasting millions on anti-transgender ads, but the American people are paying attention. They see politicians trying to distract them from the issues that affect their everyday lives.
The transgender community deserves dignity, equality, and the freedom to live their lives without being used as a political punching bag. And voters deserve leaders who focus on solving problems—not creating new ones.
November is coming. The American people have the power to send a message at the polls. Vote for candidates who will represent all Americans, protect our rights, and put the real needs of the people ahead of political attacks.
The only saving grace is that the social conservatives always misread tepid support as a mandate and overplay their hand. It’s painful that the trans community has to endure another round of hate but hopefully the haters punch themselves out a bit.
Living in a red state, it's depressing that the best I can hope for from Dem and Independent candidates is that they keep their mouth shut about us rather than going the way of Kaptur. But at this point, I'll take it.

Even the relatively rightish RealClearPolitics now says the Dems are taking the Senate even with the way they weight polls. I fear we will not get what we need to accomplish impeachment with removal . . . at least not in January. Without that, come 2028, a smart GOPer will run for President against Trump!'s history, and will be quiet about us, and I think MAGA will be a playing factor only in a small minority of states.

Thanks for sharing that. I’m always so impressed with Sarah McBride, and it’s hard to imagine colleagues being so disrespectful to someone so graceful and kind. Katz probably gets it because Senate candidates generally have to be more expansive and thoughtful than the red meat types running in their little district.

I have family that supported/supports Trump. Trans issues are a non issue. In the end, it is the ecomony, stupid.
