I monitor legislation and know how time consuming it is. Erin I so appreciate your time, energy, commitment, and work to preserve, protect and promote LGBT+ rights. I am a LGBT+ ally and you are a treasure to be valued.

I can't get excited by this while gender affirming care is being denied and bathroom bans are enforced within the same district. I mean, sure. A win is a win, I suppose. Yay?

Quite a few southern states used to have "Women-less" proms and beauty contests for many decades.

The moms and sisters would help the boys and men dress up "real purty" and perform various talent acts for fun. There was NO outrage, manufactured or otherwise for decades during this time. But NOW they seem to forget that certain religious figureheads across the country (and the planet) have been abusing young children in the very buildings where they have services and elsewhere. They blame and accuse Drag Queens for doing what priests and pastors have been getting away with for centuries. (Complete with accompanying cover-ups, to make it worse) Get our resources together, get our historical evidence together, get ourselves together and fight back. Speak up!

Side notes on this: A former classmate of mine, from Collinwood H.S., in Cleve-O was just arrested/charged with over 800 counts of child molestation. He was a Christian Minister/Pastor, re-wrote the Bible (The Ya Bible - look for it) had a Christian TV show on a Christian cable network. He used the studio of that network to VIDEOTAPE his acts. This stuff hits close to home for me. I have folks that I know who do Drag. One of them is the Trans-Mom for a group of Trans Folks that we call our kids. The other is one of our daughters from that group. They are NOT grooming or indoctrinating anyone. Nuff Said!
