I think it’s a good sign because I don’t think your average voter pays attention to which exact Dem is transphobic vs. which Dem is trans-affirming (and they still exist, e.g. Andy Beshear, Abdul El-Sayed, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez); they just get the impression that Dems are the trans-affirming party.
Okay. I admit it. I'm the eternal pessimist. That said, it was just a few days ago that EITM gave a LIST (not just one name) of democrat candidates who threw us to the wolves when it looked like they MIGHT be challenged. I'm sorry, but political expediency doesn't absolve them. All their after-election proclamations of support aren't going to change the record. We have it on tape. We have it in print. They had an opportunity to stand up for their principles and CHOSE not to. Pick your friends wisely. I will be forever grateful to those who have truly stood by us, but friends of convenience aren't true friends at all.
Now let's see the Democratic Party do the absolute bare fucking minimum to actually earn that trust, and put a boot up the ass of every Democrat who's already betrayed it.
Am I reading the poll correctly that 80% of those polled voted against Trump? I feel that they polled a crowd of higher intelligence individuals which may skew the poll? I'll certainly take it though 🏳️⚧️
Transgender issues are not a top concern for the majority of voters, yet Republicans just can’t seem to let go. They continue spending enormous amounts of money on political ads targeting a small, vulnerable community instead of addressing the issues voters actually care about, like the cost of groceries, gas, healthcare, and the economy.
Unfortunately, some Democrats are joining Republicans in this campaign rhetoric. I find that disappointing. I would like to believe that when it comes down to it, these Democrats will stand up for the transgender community and vote to protect its rights rather than abandon them for political convenience. At least, I certainly hope so. The community deserves more than campaign promises. It deserves real support and protection.
Given they're getting more transphobic I don't know if that's a good sign.

Great.

Yikes! 23% thought Republicans would be BETTER for trans rights. Sounds like 23% must have misunderstood the question!
