Let this be a reminder to those institutions whose leaders would comply in advance: The Fed may be big and scary, but the community you serve is 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳. Choose your course of action accordingly.
This is great if it holds, but only time will tell. I’m greatful for the outpouring of support against this group and the university’s course correction that they should have never allowed to begin with.
To be honest, it's very easy to think it's not a hate group just looking at the website. Their website and mission statement is all about kindness and respect. Took me a while before I realized they're a hate group and I am someone who does LGBTQ related research as a hobby (I'm a weirdo :3)
Still not acceptable and they should of looked into it more, but definitely could understand.
Glad they suspended it. Even as someone who was lucky to have an understanding doctor I still had to deal with a lot of BS.
Thanks for exposing this, and pushing back so forcefully. I live in WA State so was very disappointed to see WSU's inclusion of this group in their CE program...it seems they didn't vet the organization very well but I'm glad they did the right thing.
We went pretty hard submitting complaints to WSU and ACCME as soon as your story on it dropped. Thank you to everyone that fought along with us!
