It’s about time that vile, disgusting, pitiful excuse of a human goes away. It’s too late to have saved Nex, but at least they finally got some form of justice.

I hope this is for the good of all kids in Oklahoma. I don't like hearing about a possible run for governor though.

🎵 O-O-O-Oklahoma! Where the wind has swept away the brains....

He may be gone, but who will the Governor fill the position with?

One with the same views and values or someone who actually has the children’s welfare as his or her first priority

Awesomely ironic opening sentence to this great piece. Well done, S. Baum. I spent a week in OK in March, 2019, and I found plenty of tolerant, if not accepting, individuals, though of course mainly in OK City, Tulsa, and Norman. Walters was certainly not good for the state or our country. I'm pretty sure that he will not be missed.

As a neighbor to the north (Kansas) I am happy for my Oklahoma friends!

This is great news. I sincerely hope they don't get somebody as bad as he was. Oklahoma schools have a lot of issues. They don't need to have another like him.

OMG this is such good news...but bittersweet since he will no doubt be back on the hate train in another guise. At least democracy hasn't totally died in OK.
