Poor fElon is fighting off his own desire to be trans by harassing trans people. Give in fElon, give in. Be your authentic self. The closet door is not that heavy. And I hope when you come out you are wearing one of the pretty dresses that are inside.

Congratulations to Judge Susan Crawford! I don't have all the details. I bet this was a "no-brainer" for her and supporters!

I suspect women's health care rights were the main driver of this win, I wish we really could gage voters pro trans civil rights support.

And backlash against Musk I think too. (I'm from Wisconsin)

But, I think the positive take-away is at least people weren't distracted by the anti-trans messaging and if the GOP is spending money on a message that isn't drawing voters, that's not effective political math.

This is great news, and after a barrage of bad news through much of March, this is leaving me feel slightly hopeful.

Anyone remember when Elon walked into Twitter HQ carrying a porcelain sink? Well, he should let THIS fucking sink in.

Basic humanity prevails! As our old allies in Canada and the E.U. who are also old hats at fighting fascism model, the majority of people believe in the rights of freedoms for everyone. But it truly sucks being the one's without. Let's turn this tide.

Wisconsin woman here - I can't express how relieved I am for this outcome. I love my home. I didn't want to have to leave. Many thanks to everyone who made that possible!

And, after Nov 2024, politicians on both sides of the isle seemed to conclude that anti-trans messaging helped Trump win, a conclusion that never seems to have a solid empirical foundation IMO. I hope that this result disabuses that notion and we will look back on this as the point where we turned the corner and started to climb out of this dark pit.
