It does beg the question of where people who are "biologically" intersex are supposed to go...

Supposed to go f*** ourselves, like usual, I guess. ☠️

Laws and signs made up by people who failed Biology 101 in college and who failed Basic Human Decency in kindergarten

The kids are all right. They just need to teach the adults.

Yes, administrative predisposed overcompliance is a big issue and universities in both red and blue states are shamefully rushing to obey the anti-DEI EO and Dear Colleague letter. They will rush to overcomply with inevitable future threats that demand trans erasure at the university level. We must protest this dangerous compliance now before it becomes a pattern. Students and faculty must join together against this because administration is willing to short-sightedly sell the rest of us out against the threat of loss of funding.

How about signs reading "bathroom with urinal(s) and stall(s)" or "bathroom with stalls only"?

These bathroom laws are so ridiculous and hurtful. And as many have said, the cruelty IS the point. It's not that this is really about ideas they genuinely think will be for the good of all, or that they think trans people really will be happier once they 'get over their denial'. This is because they truly don't care about trans people and don't view us as equal people.

Also, if we're being technical, for me personally, I am pretty damn sure I am more biologically female than male. I have a biologically female brain, so I can go in anyway. My body doesn't like male body parts or testosterone. Biology itself says we can't definitively say what sex someone is, and that they have to just pick categories to some degree, because there is a whole range of biological factors influencing what sex we are, and they are never truly binary. They are like a soup of traits, not some digital 1 or 0 scenario. A lot of people can even be intersex biologically and have no external body signs that they are...yet other aspects of their biology still doesn't line up internally in a binary way. It's crazy how all of these legislators are attempting to legislating science and they have no effing clue what they are talking about on the subject.

They might as well try legislating that only the 'chosen children of god' are allowed to use certain bathrooms, because they are legislating from an equally ridiculous and uninformed scientific standpoint.

Amid several days in a row of bad news, finally a small win.

These bathroom bans are horrible, but they also beg the question of where people are supposed to go who’ve had sex reassignment surgery. If you have, then your new sex is really your “biological sex” - it’s not just gender identity anymore - and you cannot functionally, practically, or safely use the restroom of your former sex.

Sometimes administrators forget the reason their institutions exist, and think that they're only around to serve politicians or profit margins- sounds like these fascist kiss-asses just got a nice, loud reminder that the 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 can shut them down, too, if they don't like the direction their school is heading in. Love to see it.

Are they not aware that trans people are also biological organisms? Do they think trans people are some kind of machines. Obviously I'm being facetious but that's really how stupid that term is. I don't understand how that's less insulting than "cis woman". These people's brains have been cooked by maga and a steady diet of right wing propaganda.

hell yeah ! hey, this is what happens when someone pushes back at these weird little guys and their creepy ambitions‐we get results. the slightest resistance ALWAYS sends reactionaries running, they're the most scared people alive, every slur screamed is an expression of their pants-pissing knees-knocking terror of the new, unknown, and potentially threatening to their unjust power systems. good on these protestors and all others for a more just world :) trans rights now and trans liberation always 🫡🏳️‍⚧️
