President Corleone (or "Don" Trump) is really starting to show his true colors. He wants everyone to know how much control he has over law enforcement, the courts, the neighborhoods, the streets. He's not just a Nazi, he's a wannabe capo di tutti capi.
If we hadn't allowed our public educational institutions to become grossly underfunded, Trump's White House would not have been able to succeed with its demands.
I'm concerned by how weak-kneed their rejection of Chump's demands seems to be. I wouldn't be surprised if they fold under just a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 bit more pressure- or if they're trying to negotiate a compromise position.
According to some; “states rights” don’t matter so much when blue states are defending human rights, only when red states are stripping them away.

Hard to believe that 45 years ago, I was living in a coed dorm where about half of the bathrooms were coed as well. It was not a big deal.

We might not live to see the "justice" we're owed. It's possible the best we can do in our lives is survive and thrive through all this :(
