It’s been nonstop most of the year and I’m sure there’s more I could personally do but they are well organized, and yet I have hope we will out organize them in the long run. Plus with Erin, team and larger Community we shall prevail.

Deliberately. They have an ideological motivation to hurt and belittle and be cruel to transgender people. They do not care what is measured to be real, only what they can get away with.

Leor Saphir spoke at Middlebury College recently. It was protested by a group led by Lia Smith, the student who died by suicide a few weeks ago. I cannot express by continued fury that Middlebury encouraged him to speak. He was invited by a professor.
According to a 2018 survey, 66.6% of endocrinologists self-reported their practice focus as being on diabetes. That's two-thirds of endocrinologists who have no idea even the first step to transition. Endocrinologists also treat a wide range of other conditions, including thyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), growth disorders, hormone-related infertility, menopausal disorders, and metabolic disorders. The majority of the women I have encountered being treated for PCOS, are receiving substandard and ineffective care. So just because someone is an endocrinologist doesn't mean they know anything about transitioning.
Wpath has several statements in response to the falsehoods used in legislation trying to invalidate medical care etc. I was glad to see this . There should be more in the form of public appearances with media however so the general public heard the experts talk about the falsehoods . Wpaths next symposium is in Mexico City November of this year
I had an appointment with mine for thyroid checkup after surgery. She saw my labs from my hormones and asked why my e was so high. She didn't know anything and asked if I had bottom surgery right away. She was happy and supportive but ignorant.
My real question is what are they planning to do with the report?
Again where are the real experts regarding transgender care/medicine? What is WPATH doing? I mean ethically our providers get paid for our care but dont speak up and educate ? I mean no wonder these people get a way with this? If they were making up bullshit about diabetes or cancer or any other medical condition real medical professionals would be all over this!
We're in a time when truth is debatable, according to our enemies, I don't mistake it, all the years of trying to be friendly to the political right were apparently a waste of time, they have aligned with an ideology so warped it has destroyed our society from the inside, in less than a year of Trump's second presidency. I don't think it's tolerable - I think we have to stand against it, to the death. The future of civilization is in play.

Their brains are broken, they don't look at the evidence objectively, the few on the political right who have voted positively for trans rights did so because they saw the evidence for it, but others just dismiss it and contradict it, because it's something their constituents don't accept. Ultimately, we have to educate people, and refuse to back down to the hypocrites like Trump, a sexually abusive cis man dictating policies about gender and sexuality, fuck that, we demand better than the turd sandwich.

I think some have. I’ve spoken at a few places and have written items for several sites and publications. I know some others have. I was asked to be on a panel with Gorin, I considered it but backed out. I know some who have taken those opportunities and I think we should. It’s a tough balancing act to not fan the flames and platform but show up to be the reasonable voice.
