Some days are really hard. Green lights really help me on the hard days.

This is very good news for Indiana, and excellent reporting by Erin. It’s time to leave medical decisions (whether trans-related or not) in the hands where they belong - doctors, patients, and families - and leave politicians out of it

The system might actually work! :)

We all know already [although most of us are not lawyers, and most of us are not well versed in the policies of law making, Yours Truly included]: banning medical care, prescribed by qualified medical practioners should ALL be illegal. The banning of medical care is not acceptable in a modern society. We are not referring to plastic surgery techniques here. The various treatments involves complex, and invasive medical procedures on human beings. This is all complicated, and complex. How does a politician sit up in bed one day, and declare their views based on non-medical views? That is what this writer - arm-chair quarterback - lay person refers to as pseudo-religious bunk. I risk sounding niave, and I will embarrass myself here; I guess somebody has to pass these amendments first, then somebody has to block these laws who sits on the "judiciary" [checked spelling and definition too.] Eventually, the process of "democracy" will prevail. Thank you, Erin & Co. for all the effort to post this information. Please stay safe, as possible Everyone. Sending lots of Love from London, Ontario, Canada.

Thank you for the kick ass Indiana ACLU who have been on top of this from the beginning. They are a small and mighty group that accomplish so much. Thank you Kit M. For always being our voice in in Indiana - You Rock!

This is great news! And it’s even better than the newsletter describes, because what the judge granted was not a mere temporary restraining order but a preliminary injunction, which will have the effect of blocking the law until the end of the whole litigation (unless overturned by the court of appeals). At the end of the trial, the judge will hopefully rule for the trans youth and grant a permanent injunction striking down the law for good.

This is wonderful news indeed... and much needed. And as much as we need to continue to fight state legislatures and the bans that have passed need to be blocked.... I guess I'm wondering what the "plan" is more big picture... As the 2024 elections loom ahead, the big danger is a GQP controlled US. That is the real threat here... this country is at tremendous risk of going far beyond the dark ages again. :( It isn't far-fetched to think... as it stands, look at the field of clowns running, including the high likelihood that IQ45 could/will be re-elected. What a $hitshow circus we are.

This is the kind of BS disinformation that routinely goes on at National Review and other right wing media outlets: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/federal-court-files-last-minute-injunction-undercutting-indiana-ban-on-puberty-blockers-and-hormone-therapy-for-minors/

They post this and churn outrage comments but they never discuss that the law was -quite appropriately - struck down on equal protection grounds because the very same hormone therapy that was permitted to address other conditions is banned as part of gender affirming care. Clear sex based discrimination. But the transphobic, homophobic National Review won't be honest with its trad rad readers. This is what all these Conservatism, Inc. outlets are about. They can't win with the American people when the inconvenient details are discussed. Exhibit A to that is reproductive rights.

This brings tears to my eyes!! Not just that I live in Indiana but this is really looking like a real trend. We know the laws are fake and damaging and the justice system agrees. If only we can get Matt Walsh banned from media.
