The people are starting to realize that all of the anti-Transgender rhetoric is really a cover to roll back rights for all vulnerable demographics.

Here's a deeper dive into the polling nightmare for Republicans on this issue...the tip of their trans-erasure spear, a ban on trans kids in sports, is specifically in a freefall as well. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TIhdWIw8vHugNZx31lswMHnwt6ulqI0hFn3AlpGKKT0/edit

People can’t pay their bills, or afford gas and food.

Republicans running anti-trans ads shows them to be completely out of touch with most people’s fears.

Hopefully some will also see that trans people are no threat to them. And that trans people are being cynically targeted and attacked.

They won last time on a 'we will reduce the cost of eggs; platform.

Poll after poll and election after election has shown that the transgender issue is not a priority for most voters at this time. The people who continue to push this agenda are largely those driven by bigotry and prejudice, and some will never accept the transgender community. Thankfully, they represent a shrinking portion of our society.

But let’s be clear: the fight against prejudice is never over. The transgender community must never assume that discrimination will simply disappear. Stay vigilant, continue to speak out, stand up for your rights, and make your voices heard. Silence only gives prejudice more room to grow.

Your dignity matters, your rights matter, and your voices matter. Never stop fighting for the equality and respect everyone deserves.

Good news for a change. Thanks for this reporting. We have an anti trans initiative (trans girls in sports…the infamous wedge issue cooked up by the far right) on the ballot in WA state that is sponsored by wealthy Brian Heywood; he is trying to impose his personal views on the citizenry and I hope it massively backfires!

I mean I kind of wish people did care more. But I will take apathy over antipathy any day.

Don’t stop working to get the truth out about trans folks. Slam these GOP bigots with information and facts. Ridicule their lack of knowledge.

Hit anti-trans Democrats with ridicule and pull funding. Go to their town hall meetings and embarrass them in public.

I’ve been slamming Dr. Amy and Sherrod Brown every time they beg for money. Annie Andrews too. Share info with your Cis accomplices. Every little bit helps!

There's more to the story, though. For instance, even if Elon Musk sees, understands, and accepts these poll results, does anyone think he is going to stop running anti-transgender ads on behalf of GOP candidates? No - not unless the candidates specifically ask him not to. The reason? It's about blind hatred. It's personal. Same story, sort of, with the religious right. For them, it's about eradicating us so that "God" will stop "punishing" them with things like natural disasters. So, does anyone think THEY are going to stop? These battles are more important to these underwriters than the success or failure of the GOP. They want us eradicated, and elections are an opportune time for them to step up their messaging.

Hurt a little, and too bad for us not a lot as they so well deserve.

Thank you for the reporting, Mrs. Reed.

I keep saying what people care about are groceries. It is not good that people don't care about trans people suffering. But at least most people don't actively want it that badly.

Looking at that list of issues, I'm not sure trans issues would crack my top five either, and I'm trans!
