I don't think this is an issue yet, but please include bathroom laws that go into effect on a separate map if/when they do. I would hate for any traveling trans people to be caught unaware.
As always, thank you so much for all you do! The maps in particular are very useful for those of us who are visual learners. At least there's some good news; I'll try to focus on that.
It's much appreciated. It's so hard to keep track of everything, I mostly keep up with missouri where I live and Montana, but there's more going on than all that
I totally understand the challenge of whether to make WV a pink state or not. The truth is that we DO have a ban, there are exceptions and we want our patients to know they can still get care here if they meet the requirements. However, a ban is a ban. It is a violation of our basic civil rights to have the government interfere with decisions between healthcare providers, parents and patients. Maybe it can get an *? Leaving it grey makes it look like it's not a problem here. It is.
Sb14 just passed the Texas House committee 6-5 and heads to the general house for vote and then the governors desk. Activists were pushed out and arrested in the Texas State House today for mostly bs reasons. https://twitter.com/taygoldenstein/status/1653511345323618306?s=20
I appreciate the reply anyway. I figured most places would be rougher outside the large cities still, ecen if they have some state level protections in place

Exactly. Just passed thru Houston (gulp). Flight rerouted. Luckily they had a gender neutral bathroom. Didn’t know what to expect there…
Yeah I have a layover in Texas when I go to Mexico and back. I am curious as to how tread the airport now.

So. Much. Horror
ICYMI...Another example of not just trans people but their supporters being silenced.

Thank the goddess you’re ok Erin.

Erin, thank you again for all the work you do. It means so much to our community.
Is there a source I can look to that lists which states have which specific pro-trans protection? We will prob have to flee Missouri
That sounds really lovely! I'll keep that in mind as we explore options
That sounds amazing. I'm a software dev, so I'm pretty mobile. It sounds amazing to have so much covered, tho. Very tempting
Well, I appreciate all the tips! It's encouraging to hear there's some safer spots
