Libs of TikTok and Bomb Threat on Boston Children's Hospital

Libs of TikTok has gone too far. Now a children's hospital has been threatened with a bomb. All platforms need to drop Chaya Raichik and Libs of TikTok.

I told you this would happen… Boston Children’s Hospital has received bomb threats after anti-trans twitter account Libs of TikTok spent multiple days targeting their openly violent mob against this hospital because of gender affirming care. They are currently suspended from twitter, but even now, they are vowing to continue their attacks when they return.

Everyone who has been following Libs of TikTok knew what was coming next. This is how Chaya Raichik works. For those of you who have been unaware of Libs Of TikTok, this is a twitter account that got its start by posting content from queer teachers from TikTok to an audience of transphobic people for harassment. Libs of TikTok has targeted pride events, teachers, and now hospitals.

Over the course of the last two weeks, LoTT has posted dozens of tweets that target Boston Children's Hospital as well as other Children’s Hospitals for providing gender affirming care to trans teens within all medical association and WPATH guidelines. After Boston Children’s Hospital was sufficiently terrorized, they targeted Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and more.

This isn’t the first time that her actions have lead to bomb threats. In May and June, Libs Of TikTok focused on a Kiel school district in Wisconsin for investigating a title IX violation of a trans teen. Her violent mob, which explicitly stated violent intent in her replies, responded by calling in dozens of bomb threats. This led to shutting down of the district for a month with constant bomb threats, until they stopped the title IX investigation. She saw this stochastic terrorism campaign and knows it worked, and she fully intends to repeat it.

The result of Libs of TikTok's targeted harassment of Kiel, Wisconsin and a principal there? A town that was paralyzed by bomb threats and all schools shut down until they closed the title IX investigation early over the threats.

There are many other violent events that occurred because Libs of TikTok put it on signal boost. Do you remember that picture of several Patriot Front members getting pulled out of a U-Haul? Libs of TikTok was the account that identified the location and built up the outrage so that her audience would take her up on committing violent acts against a Pride Festival.

Libs of TikTok has also focused on Drag Queen Story Hours. This has lead to them getting attacked and mobbed by right wing militants. She posted a link to such a story hour in California and right wing extremists disrupted the event with white power signs. She has also attacked Jewish summer camps that allow transgender teenagers. There is no target off limits for her.

At the time of this article, Libs of TikTok is suspended for 7 days from twitter. We need to make that suspension permanent, as she is currently vowing to restart her campaign against Children’s Hospitals when she returns. She is also selling her goods and merchandise on Shopify, and it may be prudent to avoid Shopify (while still supporting queer shopify merchants). We need to stop giving stochastic terrorists a platform, and we need to hold companies accountable for supporting them.
