The republicans hate when the government controls THEIR corporations, but love when their enemies get punished.

They see their right wing extremist views as the “normal” and “default” as they rage against “leftist ideology” without acknowledging that their “rightist ideology” is what they’re trying to bully everyone into following. The party of freedom, everybody.

They found their distractions to get everyone focused on while they loot this country and turn it into a dictatorship

“But her emails” looks so ineffective compared to what these first amendment suppressing, corrupt degenerate politician potty police have cooked up

Hmm... did Elon warn Tesla shareholders about the potential effects of his hateful transphobic actions?

They would argue that there backlash for that was "unforeseeable" or that it was in accordance with federal mandate or some other bull like that.

The benefit of just ignoring the law like Trump and Elon is that you can make up whatever you need to in order to hurt your enemies. And with the right wing controlling so much of the federal government, they don't really have to worry about anyone calling them out for it or facing any real consequences.

First Mickey Mouse, and now Target, as much I don't want Corporations to win, FL gonna continue to keep getting humiliated based on the State Gov & Senate folks who are Republicans that wants this to happen.

But honestly, not surprised as a Floridan, just tired to hear what else did FL does in hurting LGBTQIA+ People and other minorities that Target occasionally highlight in their stores at certain periods of times throughout the year.

Not to mention, didn't Target like other companies quietly stopped having Pride Month Stuff due to Customers Complaining and cancelled a lot of LGBTQIA+ Artist and Designers from being on shelf's without warning last year or so? On top of that, move Pride items from the front of the store to the back of the store and believe only had them for online for certain areas before again, being quietly pushed out into existence.

Target ain't slick cuz before I had personal issues flaring up, I used to get Kohl's and Target Pride Month stuff on repeat from 2021-2023 and was nice to have especially the Pride blankets from Kohl's is a under rated purchase which I still got to get previous blankets of other years but eBay be tripling the prices so it's whatever at that point

Anyways, I feel like FL doesn't even know what they're arguing about but y'all already know a judge is gonna hear this and it's 50/50 with the US Climate in how things would be, or at the very least, give FL another reason to be embarrassed to be apart of the gang of US States and Southern States for LGBTQIA+ Folks.

Once again, the part that is constantly ranting about "free speech" and "big government" shows themselves to be colossal hypocrites. And of course, all of this anti-DEI stuff is 100% pure, naked bigotry. Conservatism truly is a rotten, evil, CRUEL ideology.

I know pointing out hypocrisy on the right is easy and that they don’t really care, but… Anyone else remember the right losing it over Amazon pulling Ryan T. Anderson’s anti-trans book “When Harry Became Sally” (which, btw, is available on Amazon again now)? Because free speech or some such argument about why Amazon *had* to sell a product?

The attacks on free speech and personal expression is astonishing. What happened to people just minding their own damn business when they don't agree with something? If you don't like pride merch, don't buy it and move on. I want to see more representatives making this point as loudly as possible.

I hope it's blatantly obvious that under Republicans, even large corporations don't have the freedom to sell the items they choose. Republicans do not share American values and freedom. They are a new brand of fascism that will give the Nazis a run for their money as the worst government in history.

As is often the case, these tactics have a double edge sword. It will be easier to sue right leaning businesses as well as the likes of Chik-fil-A, Hobby Lobby and any business that pushes religious ideology or bigotry including any of Trumps criminal businesses. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

This is a full scale attack on us, not just our rights, but our very existence. Enough. I am getting armed and getting trained in firearm safety and defense tactics. Our local community is starting these programs and I suggest other communities do the same, because I do not feel safe anymore, in the slightest, in this country. We need to defend ourselves, and so get organized

I have a feeling the MAGA people are going to realize making sure everyone has guns could turn out to be fatal … to them. I’d bet a lot of people with a lot of guns are now trying to find the representatives they voted for. Karma is a bitch.

The Conservative movement is hypocritical to the extreme. They tout “free speech” as important only when advocating for speech that forwards their bigotry and pushes their religion onto others. Otherwise, they try to censor anything that upholds/affirms the basic dignity of marginalized groups such as the pride merch at Target, the message that Black Lives Matter, etc. The America they want is one that denies humanity, power, and rights to anyone who isn’t a cisgender straight white conservative non-disabled Christian man. It’s disgusting and it erodes their humanity as well. We must fight back!

Why are dumb shits like Ron DeSantis and State AG James Uthmeier so scared of trans people? This is petty bullshit with a sinister motive. I’m old enough to remember when Republicans used to scold Democrats about meddling in private businesses affairs. Apparently that’s OK when you want to discriminate against an entire group of people. These guys are wasting taxpayer dollars in the name of hate and fear. 😡😡😡

Just imagine if politicians spent all the time and money they’ve spent coming up with ways to demonize and discriminate LGBTQ + people and used it on finding a way to provide universal healthcare.
