This is wonderful, but how many books have already been removed - will they be put back ?

How many teachers will continue to adhear to the judges ruling ?

I live in Iowa and with the constant attacks on LGBTQ people here this is refreshing... Our legislators are really sick individuals most who put forth these rediculous bills are from rural areas where there's virtually no queer people.

The word "temporarily" makes me very uncomfortable, but even a temporary pause to the march of fascism is 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 good.

This is a significant ruling because one of the stated objectives of Iowa recently removing gender identity as a protected characteristic was for their anti-trans legislation to succeed against legal challenges in the court.

A bright spot in the darkness. Remember keep flooding Federal Senate offices with calls about the reconciliation bill. There are provisions in there currently that could/would have been used to call this ruling invalid. This line also takes affect on ANY case retroactively.

For the life of me, I cannot understand who book bans are legal/ constitutional in our country. Homeland Security and the other criminals who pass for the “Authorities” are marching over our rights.

I find it really difficult to compliment or thank a Republican legislator for voting for something that is RIGHT. I find myself talking out loud asking WHY did it take them so loooong. That being said I am doing a happy dance.
