Explain to me (legally) how harassing any employee for any reason, to the point where they cannot perform their job, isn't against the law?

Only when that employee is queer, of course.

The "drop the T" idiots are a loud but small minority of the queer community. Every queer person I know supports trans rights, both because that's the right thing to do and because they know their own rights are next in line.

It has begun. The time for civil disobedience is now. Time to use the shit out of the facilities that correspond with gender assigned at birth. Yes this is going to hurt but it’s where we’re at. No more indulging the fantasy of everything being ok. Looks like this broad is going to be shaving the 🐈in public.

"Looks like this broad is going to be shaving the 🐈in public."

Please keep that metaphorical. I don't think doing that literally would help.

Oh it’s war. To clarify public bathroom/locker room. They need to feel uncomfortable. Honestly, sports wouldn’t be an issue if we won in the men’s league, they would happily let us play in women’s divisions then. If they’re going to make us uncomfortable we can simply extend the favor. For too long, we assumed and demanded rights. It’s time to earn them

Some of us who are FtM do . . .

Yes but it doesn’t hit the same, just perpetuates the magic properties of testosterone which they believe make them superior.

Actually yes, pound for pound after a few years a FtM person under HRT will be as strong as a cisgender man. They compete and do well.

It's not magic, only biology.

The attitudes of SoCons are entirely parallel and not relevant to what I said.

Obviously, you disagree.

Does this also mean we can harrass people for being cishet?

I have a flight coming up in a month. It’s within the country. But I’m terrified of being harassed. I had issues a couple years back when I went through the scanner and the male agent looked at my privates said I would have to be searched and referred me to a female tsa agent. Thankfully she said, “you’re fine sir” and gave the other agent a disapproving look. What’s going to happen this time? This definitely doesn’t help.

Hopefully this will be overturned on appeal. The Supreme Court makeup hasn’t changed much since Bostock so if this makes it there, we should get a favorable ruling, assuming of course that Roberts and Gorsuch haven’t changed their position on Bostock, which I haven’t seen anything yet to indicate they have.

Gorsuch wrote the Bostock decision, so in a sane world, he would react poorly to a district court judge overruling his decision. In this world . . . who knows?

How are federal judges being allowed to rule against SC rulings? This can't be allowed to continue.

Strange how the day after the 'procedural hearing' at the Supreme Court for district judges to NOT be allowed to put a nationwide injunction on maga bs is a corrupt GOP judge nationwide ruling on hate.

They want to disrupt every progressive step forward, and dismantle every agency that protects civil rights. They wear the flag like a cape and wave the cross like a wand and think they'll make people disappear. Think again, bigots.

I swear they’re trying to hurt everyone they hate and also kill us all through the blood pressure or strokes all this news will bring. Jfc, I do not see how anyone anywhere can rule in favor of discrimination.

Pastor Martin Niemoller's poem titled First They Came is so very relevant. No one, who doesn't fit the MAGA image of a "normal" person, is safe. Gay rights, feminist rights, trans rights are all simply human rights at their core. As the pastor points out, it's easy to turn a blind eye, when it's not YOU they're after. It's not a popular view, I realize, but the 2nd amendment was written for just such circumstances. I'm not advocating violence, but we need to protect ourselves and each other. Clearly, "the system" isn't going to protect us.

Just a note here: MAGA’s “normal” is not safe if you are a person using contraception, IVF procedures, or having (involuntary) miscarriages. To be clear, there is nowhere that this persecution is not going to reach. *White males, don’t feel ‘left out’(i.e. safe), if you have a daughter who needed help/healthcare, you attend any kind of protest, you post “incorrect ideology” on social media, you marry an “incorrect” person, etc etc. Is it coming into focus yet?
