Imagine being the richest man in the world and instead of using that money to travel, support your family, and achieve your dreams, you decide to demonize a minority that makes up less than 3% of the US population.

I'm getting chills here, as this feels eerily similar to the death threats, targeting, and murders of abortion providers in the 90s. For a short time I took part in clinic defense, escorting women from their cars while frothing haters screamed outside the gate (but were drowned out by the rap music we would play on boom boxes as we walked them to the door).
Musk is a grotesque character, but I am heartened by his trans daughter Vivian Wilson's noble counterexample. As Wikipedia says, she "supports universal basic income, health care, reducing wealth inequality, and human rights," which is a hell of a lot more than her puerile father can brag. Since she's only 22 or so years old, she'll be around a lot longer than her fast-aging father will (just look at his face, the face of a man who, like Trump, is rotting from within!!) And so will young trans people like her, who will long outlive their repellent foes in the geriatric suites of power and, thus, will one day soon RUN the world (and better, I think).
I say this, by the way, as a 73-year-old SF trans woman whose Mac Air screen saver is a photo of Vivian: It inspires me when I begin to fear for the future. (Old people worry a lot.) She and those like her (like my smart-as-a-whip nieces and nephews) convince me that although we old folks have screwed up much of the world, we're passing it into savvier, more mature hands. I'm an old broad now, but by golly, as we used to say in the Sixties, THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT!

I’m going to have to disagree with you here. At 22 years old, Vivian happens to be approximately 10 years too old for Trump. She would be relatively safe around him, notwithstanding the psychological damage sustained through listening to his utterances, the putrid nauseating smell coming from his soiled diapers, and the occasional stray bullet from another staged assassination attempt.
Curious what Elon’s thoughts are about people who rape children… oh wait, they get to go on and run the country. But yeah, death to those who actually love and help children. 🤡

If you are going to spend your time attacking an entire community, perhaps try something radical first: learn something about that community. Read the research. Listen to qualified medical professionals. Talk to transgender people and their families. Find out what gender-affirming care actually means instead of building your arguments around whatever bullshit fantasies happens to be circulating online that week.
And when some of these people start talking about the death penalty for people who provide or support transgender care, maybe the rest of us should stop treating that rhetoric like just another harmless political talking point. If you advocate something that extreme, you should be prepared to defend it publicly, explain exactly what you mean, and answer for the consequences.
Musk and his followers don’t need a bigger microphone. They need a reality check, a stack of scientific literature, and a conversation with the actual human beings they keep talking about as if they don’t exist.
The transgender community is not your political punching bag. Their lives are not your culture-war entertainment. And ignorance does not magically become truth because someone with billions of dollars posts it on social media.
