I'm sooooo appreciative of all these stories and I'm so glad we have you Erin. So I'm saying this slightly, but not entirely, tongue in cheek when I say that my favorite part of this story is seeing that you'll be on vacation for eight days :) you deserve it! You more than earned some time away! enjoy!

It’s not even a “sport”! Probably a publicly move to get media attention. I can’t imagine what advantages a trans girl would have. So silly.

Per Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_golf) disc golf has been a sport in the U.S. and in many other countries since the 1970s, and was first played in the 60s.

This is embarrassing. Another demonstration that transphobic people are inherently misogynistic.

Sounds like the disc golf association needs new leadership, hopefully members have the ability to replace them or start a new and improved professional disc golf association that replaces them, seems like their members would leave to be in a more inclusive and therefore a legitimate (professional) organization anyway. I say Let the bigots be with their own kind, as they say “they made their bed, let them rest in it”. I don’t know much about the DG association, but seems like a logical move forward? Yes/No?

One clarification: Natalie Ryan has not won a disc golf championship. She won two individual Pro Tour events.

This is very distressing for me. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to uncover this creeping social disease which tears a the very fabric of humanity, especially here in the U.S.A.

I keep hitting "Like" on your posts, but I don't think that's the right emotion. A large majority of your posts elicit some combination of sadness and anger.

I really appreciate your reporting. I just wish you had less bad news to report and more good news. Thanks for all the great work you do.

I had to look up what disc golf is. Pardon my language, but it's a fucking Frisbee tournament. Are they serious? And then I went to the website. The women from the Nordic countries - presumably all cis - are bigger and beefier than I am. Sigh. What nonsense.

I’m in Europe on a much needed mental break from all things insane that’s going on in the US.

Let me say this: the utter propaganda that the “US is free” is a complete joke. I feel like I’ve escaped authoritarianism and daily human rights abuse just by going on vacation. The Pride parade here a few weeks ago had approximately 100,000 people attending ....it was absolutely REFRESHING to see so many people participating. No crazy Trump flags, DeSantis car decals, or religious postering in sight.

I hope you & Zoey get to travel out of the US to REALLY breathe, because the US is not a healthy place to live right now for anyone, but especially for non-cishet folks.
