THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!! *THIS* is what I mean when I say that I am absolutely DISGUSTED by the "leadership" and "resistance" we're seeing from most Democrats in office. Writing sternly-worded letters of disapproval then demanding I send you money is N E I T H E R.

"no longer drowning in a woke sea" lol you simply broke the surface for a gasp for air. The next "woke wave" will hit harder than the last.

Not all heroes wear capes! This guy gets it- fascists can't be appeased, only resisted. I wish a few more politicians on this side of the pond would hurry up and learn that lesson.

This is great the mayor and the thousands who showed up to back this community against the racist, bigoted, antisemitic government. This community will not disappear they will and will not fade away

Thank you for this report, S. Baum.

Karacsony is doing important and courageous work in Hungary, and there are more like him all over the world.

Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban perhaps arrested Karacsony because Hungary's economy is faltering big time. Orban's support for Russia in the wake of it's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 led the European Union to stop subsiding Hungary's backward economy, and the EU largesse is no longer flowing into Orban's coffers and those of his supporters. Thus, Orban is losing support among rural, older, conservative Hungarians. As his power wanes, Orban, like Trump, will lash out in desperation at traditional targets of conservatives, namely LGBTQ people and immigrants.
