The for-credit lessons included a Moms for Liberty-sponsored panel as well as a lecture from a renowned anti-trans activist on how to politically organize against “gender ideology.”
"Genspect, for its part, has denounced its designation as a pseudoscientific hate group, and says it simply strives for “evidence-based” treatment for gender dysphoria."
Uhuh, but they only accept evidence that says what they want to hear, no matter is flaws.
Jesus is totally into trans women and moreover defiant of the attacks on trans rights, we're in this fight for the long haul, never surrendering our values, never letting these right-wing fake Christians win the argument, Trump's victory in the election is a minor setback ultimately, we're still here, he cannot dictate an erasure of us, despite his disgusting efforts.
These groups are hate groups and use religion to promote their hate - they need to be reminded that way back in the day their where all kinds of relationships and no one cared is was common place. Today we have hate groups determined to dominate everyone to what they believe. I’m so glad we have succeeded in discrediting this group and must continue too fight all groups that promote hate and bad science.
I doubt my email sent at the suggestion of EITM made a difference. But I;m happy to know that such an easy and simple act may have helped even a little.
Awesome! I filed a complaint, pointing out that Genspect/SEGM misrepresented Guyatt’s evidence-based scientific GRADE framework & used him to gain credibility. He denounced them a few months ago, stating in an interview that many successful treatments (like cancer drugs) are based on low-evidence studies (due to urgency).
I am reading comments where some of us are questioning whether our emails may have had an impact. YES YES YES. I used to have a bumper sticker that said "Silence=Death". A legislator I volunteered for a few years ago kept track of every email, phone call, and pieces of snail mail she received. The number of those in support and the number of those in opposition. Happy dancing here!
Hurray! Equality Michigan wins out.
Thank you for shining a light.
Good! Thank you to EITM for contacting the boards to question/inform.
well done, i can’t overstate how important this is

I emailed too! Made a difference where all those calls to Congress didn’t seem to. But maybe they too are heard and matter somewhere.

Well done, EITM! Thank you for exposing this and following up.

Another one bites the dust. Whack-a-Mole is a tedious game, but we'll keep playing it as long as the moles do.
